Ponzi Scam Spam
The Net has changed. Cyberspace has become a danger place to surf. Everyday, ordinary people like you and I, are bombarded with emails from people we don't even know, advertising some crappy unknown product. Just like real life, except this sort of advertising is unsolicited like junk mail in your postbox. We call this online junk mail SPAM.
If you've ever signed up to any ponzi HYIP, you may have unwittingly given your email to unscrupulous individuals. After their initial program has collapsed, they will bombard you with daily emails trying to entice you to join some new ponzi HYIP. Some of them don't even invest much in the new program. Instead, their goal is to earn money from referral commissions. These scammers are notorious spammers. Many use false email headers, anonymous proxies and other evil means (e.g. zombie PCs infected with trojans) to send spam, making them difficult to trace.
